Any kind of therapy is an incredibly personal thing, and more often that not the importance of choosing the right therapist for yourself is overlooked. I think this is crucially important to being able to offer my clients the kind of support and help they need and for this reason I encourage all of my clients to engage in an initial no cost consultation before they embark on any kind of treatment plan.

Within the session, after taking some information from you about what you would like to change I will explain to you how our brains work, why they can make us feel/think/behave the way that we do and, perhaps most importantly, what we can do about it.
I will explain how Solution Focussed Hypnotherapy can help you move forward and make the changes you want to make. You will also receive a complementary hypnotherapy audio to listen to and advice on what you can be doing at home to start making positive change.

Weekly sessions where we focus on your preferred future and the small steps we can take towards achieving your ultimate goal. Once you have identified what you want to achieve we finish the session with 30 minutes of guided visualisation and relaxation through hypnosis. You therefore leave every session feeling relaxed and positive about the changes you want to make.

All sessions payable in advance of the session via bank transfer.
Single Session: Smoking Cessation
120 minutes

This is a single session and by the end of the 2 hours you will be a non-smoker.
Which and New Scientist Magazine both identify hypnosis as the most effective approach to stopping smoking, without cravings, irritability or weight gain.
Solution Focussed Hypnotherapy has an 80% success rate after 6 months, compared to Nicotine Replacement Therapy, which has a 10% success rate and the NHS which has a 20% success rate.
No Initial Consultation required and you will receive a complementary hypnotherapy audio to listen to at home to support the process.
Three Sessions: Phobia Treatment
3x 60 minutes
Following the Initial Consultation, it takes just three sessions to rid you of your phobic response, completely! You will receive a complementary hypnotherapy audio to support the process.

Solution Focused Hypnotherapy Session

Weekly sessions where we focus on your preferred future and the small steps we can take towards achieving your ultimate goal. The sessions are in two parts, the first being the psychotherapy element, where a combination of solution focused talking therapy, NLP and CBT techniques are used to enable you to identify small changes you wish to make to start taking positive steps forward. The second element is a 20-30 minute guided relaxation hypnotherapy session which gets you in a state of relaxed focus, leaving you feeling motivated and positive about the changes you have identified during the session.

All sessions are payable in advance of the session via bank transfer or card payment.

Sessions for phobia treatment

Following the Initial Consultation, it takes just three sessions to rid you of your phobic response, completely! You will receive a complementary hypnotherapy audio to support the process.

Staff Training / Workshops

Additionally, some services have had to put themselves on the front line, they have had to cope with ever changing guidelines and legislation, all whilst coming to terms with the potential danger they are putting themselves and their families in.

I can deliver workshops focusing on building resilience, coping with change and provide practical strategies to help your team improve their wellbeing so they feel better equipped to cope with whatever challenges they may have to face.

Serotonin Superstars Primary School Programme

A mental health and wellbeing group workshop for children in Year 2-6 that can be tailored to your school’s individual needs. Helping children overcome challenges around:
-Confidence
-Resilience
-Excessive worrying
-Anxiety or Panic
-Negative Thinking
-Low mood and/or motivation
-Emotion regulation
-Sleep issues

The programme combines solution focused talking techniques with fun, practical activities that help improve children’s understanding of their emotions and cope better with challenging situations in day to day life. Each session also includes a guided relaxation to give the children’s busy brains some well needed down time!
Children are encouraged to focus on the positive aspects of their lives, identify their own strengths and recognise that they have the capacity within themselves to make positive changes that are going to be beneficial to their mental wellbeing.
Parents are included in the process from the start, they are invited to attend a parents’ workshop before the programme begins so they are fully aware of what their children will be gaining from the workshops.
Communication is vital for any intervention in schools so parents and teachers are kept updated with weekly emails outlining what activities they children have taken part in and can continue at home and/or in the classroom.
Progress is recorded using outcome measuring software and reported to the school following the six week programme. This information can be used to assess impact and help identify any children who may require additional support.

Secondary School Programmes for Mental Health and Wellbeing

A variety of health and wellbeing group workshops for secondary school and sixth form students that can be tailored to your school’s individual needs. Helping young people understand their emotions better and develop strategies to help overcome challenges around:
